The CFF focuses on several key areas:

1. Research: The foundation invests heavily in scientific research to advance our understanding of CF and develop new treatments and therapies. They fund research grants and collaborate with academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and biotech firms to accelerate the development of potential therapies and ultimately find a cure.
2. Care and Support: The CFF provides support to individuals with CF and their families by funding specialized CF care centers throughout the United States. These centers offer comprehensive care and access to a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who specialize in CF. The foundation also offers resources, educational materials, and programs to help people with CF manage their condition and live healthier lives.
3. Advocacy: The CFF advocates for policies and legislation that benefit the CF community. They work to ensure access to quality healthcare, affordable medications, and improved insurance coverage for individuals with CF.
